Pyramid Tray Treats!

Ok, guys these are fabulous! Easy to make, with good human grade ingredients. The dogs LOVE them and they are easy to freeze so that you can easily give your dog a variety of treats. The pyramid tray is a tray that allows fat to drain easily from the food, BUT if you turn it upside down, the little indents (pyramid shaped) are the perfect size for treats. I will add more recipes as I discover/try them out. And if you find one you like, please comment to this post!

Because these treats don’t contain any preservatives, they will need to be frozen or refrigerated if using within a few days. It takes about 1 hour to thaw which is rather convenient.

You will need a pyramid tray (Amazon) or do a search on any online store for “Pyramid tray”. Each tray makes over 500 treats, and *most* recipes listed here will fill 2 trays (unless noted).

Basic Instructions:
Pre heat oven to 300(o)
1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor until it is similar consistency to pancake batter.
2. Put the mat on a cookie sheet (if your cookie sheet is too small to hold the mat, turn it upside down and put the mat on that side.
3. Pour out the ingredients onto mat, and spread evenly with a spatula. Click here to see a video.
4. Cook at 300 for 20 minutes
5. Remove the treats. Click here to see a video of this.
6. Let them cool before putting in containers for the fridge or freezer.

And that’s about it!
